Health manifests itself in all areas of our lives.

I am a person like you or anyone else.  I want to be happy and healthy, but life happens. I got busy; I got involved in raising my kids; I turned my focus to others because they needed my care; and I forgot no one was caring for me, not even myself.  Suddenly, I found myself too tired, too afraid, too lost… and I got sick.  I looked at that person looking at me in the mirror and I asked her:  What happened to you?  How did you let us get here?  Where is that vibrant person you used to be?  It struck me, I needed to do something.

There isn’t much we can control in life, but I can certainly work hard to make health and happiness happen for me.  It is surely not going to knock on my door.

So, this is me.  A person who believes in the positive outcome, who has studied many complimentary medicine techniques to self-improve, who has tried each technique and adapted to self-healing, who is on her way to remission, and is very happy and ready to support others who want to try to help themselves.

We are all different, we need different things, and we all need a good listener, support, and love.  The truth is we are inundated with theories about health; wellness; what to eat and what not to eat; how to or how not to exercise.  The list goes on and on.  We then find ourselves more lost than ever.  We go to the doctor because we don’t feel well, but our blood tests come back normal.  Or we are trying to lose weight, eating the way we think is right, but it doesn’t happen, and we get very frustrated.  We are overwhelmed.  We are over stimulated.  We want to live life, but we realize we are just surviving.  Something is really wrong there.

You already know vegetables are good for you; that you need to sleep better and more; that you need to drink plenty of water; that you need to keep moving; that stress is a silent killer; that self-care is important for good health.  You just don’t know how to fit it all in a day’s work.  It feels like keeping a balance between work, family, and fun while maintaining good health is more than a full time job.  So, we put it on auto-pilot.  That is where I come in.
